Module version 0.6
This module will do the following things:
- Copy the SSH daemon executable to /etc
- Create a ssh config dir (etc/sshcfg) and create a initial sshd config file there
- Copy SSH V1 and V2 host keys (private and public) to the config directory
- Enable start of SSH daemon at boot-time in startup script (/app/cfg/rc.local)
- Only the file /etc/sshcfg/authorized_keys is used for pre-authorized keys.
Even though it's not mandatory to install the SYSUSER module in order to install this SSHD module, installing this module without it doesn't make any sense as there will be no username and password to login with. The SYSUSER patch installs the user sys on the system which you can use for login.
The installation of this package only takes a few seconds and can be run several times without any problems as it does not care if it has been run previously. For all file which are modified there will be an initial backup of that file with the extension .ORIG. Although a message saying you require a reboot is shown, this is not the case. The message is shown because it assumes you have actually updated the firmware which you have not done with this patch.
