Description
This module is an existing Media Server integration. EasyBox manages this for a specific French Internet provider box.
It is designed to encapsulate VLC Media Player. VLC is currently compiled and deployed with initial version, but not configured. Welcome to any helper!
Installation
Use the link in the Versions section to download the module. To prevent your browser from starting media players (because of the .mod extension) the module package is contained in a ZIP file.
Extract the module binary package (.mod) from the archive and install it.
Configuration
After enabling the module the module handling page can be accessed. Enabling the module also create a naseasybox folder.
Important security note: First configure this folder sharing mode. It is public by default and NAS root folder / is default media source folder for NASEasyBox. You should both define a webadmin user with RW access to this folder instead of giving it public access, start NASEasyBox server, and access EasyBox configuration page from server handling page to change media sources.
Server handling page gives access to :
- server control
- a configuration page when server started
- the start page to test correct configuration (when server started)
Note: EasyBox contents are in French.
