N5200 Module: MYSQL
From Thecus Wiki
This module was included in the FW1.00.10 download. I have it installed and works great. The application starts from the CF drive. The configuration files and database are on the raid. This is an efficient module not doing read/writes to the CF drive when the database is accessed.

Question
What module are you talking about? Where did you get it? Please be more specific.... This entry is not suitable as it is.

Answer
It is the MySQL module that came with firmware version 1.00.10 that you can download from the Thecus website. When you download and extract the firmware on your pc you will see a modules directory. Also, there is no re-inventing the wheel on this so I posted where to get it. If someone wants to put the download on this website to stay consistent with all the rest then have at it. Good luck, it works great.
WARNING : this firmware seems not to be used as it. -- Vincent (vba79)
I've extracted this mod from the firmware, replaced the version of mysql with a freshly compiled 5.051b (latest stable version) and brought phpmyadmin up to version 2.11.6. Link for this is further down the page.--drewy.
More information
- This is MySQL 5.0.33 with an included phpMyAdmin. Really good module.
- BUT included PHP does not include mbstring support... really bad thing for a Japanese or French user like me...
(tested with XOOPS).
Installation
- Once the firmware file bunzip2'ed, extract the mysql.mod file from /source/plug-in-modules/modules tar folder, and install it as any module.
